First iris

The  Iris by our pond produced its first flower today. The weather has turned cooler again.
 I visited my Mother this afternoon. She was most put out that they had played eggbox bingo. She " hadn't come here to play bingo!" It was no use reminding her she could have attended the art club instead, or simply read her newspaper in her room! 

This evening we attended the rather lengthy Annual Parish Meeting, arranged by the Parish Council. (Who'd be a Parish Councillor?! )
