Laburnum

Rather a cool, wet day.
The  brightest thing  I found was this Laburnum tree, growing at the Rugby Club, where we met for the monthly  Winchester  Uke Jam. 
A good evening was enjoyed by all, as always, with playing,  and singing, and tonight even dancing (!) to the 1950s Rock and  Roll Medley. 

We listened to some of the evidence being given by Paula  Vennells  ex CEO of  the Post Office, at the Post Office/ Horizon inquiry. It's all very shocking that the PO bosses were content to prosecute many of the sub post masters, without  questioning how likely it was they had so many untrustworthy employees, and whether a new  IT system could be at fault.      
And, then a rain- drenched, Rishi Sunak announced he is calling a  General Election on 4th July.
