Where Is The 500mm When You Need It?

We all went out for brunch.
It was somewhere that you had to know about as it looked just like a large house in a very smart garden. The sign was a very subtle affair at the gate.
Inside though ............. WOW!!!!
Absolutely GORGEOUS.
The food and presentation was super too - and it kept on coming!
The staff were very well dressed in their smart uniforms but I had to laugh at the way they had free reign with the footwear .... sandals, flip-flops, trainers and even what looked like slippers.
Obviously the owners feel it is important for the staff to feel comfortable when they are on their feet all day (good for them I say).


There was nobody else there when we arrived but it was filling up by the time we left. 
Lunch and evening dinner is obviously more popular, but it meant I was able (and allowed) to take pictures -- there are 6 at that link, finishing with the palm trees growing up through the house.

Afterwards we were taken on a bit of a tour around the perimeter of the Kings palace through the parkland where there is going to be an equestrian soon. I don't think I saw a horse while we were there, but they are very popular and there is a big equestrian school and separate equestrian vet quite near the BILs house.
He has been in the house for nearly 3 years and there has been all sorts of building works going on so we had a drive around to see what has been going on. Some things have not developed and some have taken steps backwards. Apparently some of this is down to the King putting his foot down about works being done without permits (where permission to build has been given but full plans not being submitted before starting work). Taking too long to build and complete or changing intended usage has also had buildings taken down.
That is one way to improve building works.
