Livin' on the Edge

Stopped in Alderley Edge on our way back from Cheshire today. It was out of our way but we were curious as to what it was really like, seeing as we hear so much about it, what with it being the centre of the universe for the Cheshire Set. And footballers. And their wives.
It's actually quite a nice little place. Although my view of it might be coloured by the fact that it has a Waitrose and an Oxfam crammed with post-punk/goth vinyl. Brilliant. All those Cult, Simple Minds and Big Country records...
This photo is of a sweetie shop window display, the goods on display are mostly made of felt. And are rather groovy in my book.
Having said all of that, Alderley Edge might think itself cosmopolitan and chi-chi, but even I know that the plural of 'panini' is 'panino'. Panini-S indeed, Village Cafe.
