"Our Favorite Plant"...

...And the Lady...

...The Plant - well I'm not sure of the botanical name of it but it's been around with us in our gardens for a long time as it's very hardy and has an abundance of little blooms which last for a whole month..We generally plant it near one of our statues, as we know it's not going to take over and run them down in no time...

...We are aware it is known by the name : "The Lucky Plant" - I'm not exactly sure why - most probably because it's lucky to survive in some situations, without water to keep it going...true, it doesn't need much water, like the cacti - and it rewards us every year with these lovely little blooms...

... They die back as little brown blooms and then we trim them back as they are, and then it's all ready for the enduring summer to come...and once again - they bloom again at this time of the year...

...We also have it in hanging pots, and it's so easy just to trim back - and also to propagate into another plant or three...
