'Acorners'

Work stuff: Today's road trip was back to Coventry. First the train station to find that the charging posts there have been turned off due to lack of use, unsurprising. Then Cov Uni Tech park, where they've got hands-down the best designed charging posts, that's the Chargemasters. Still need a lot of improvement though, so I'll be working on design recommendations next week.

Social stuff: Met up with Rach for lunch today, before she heads off to Brighton for a summer job in marketing which she seems very excited about. Next time we see each other, we'll be living in the same house! Oh and we raided the darkroom for kit, weyyy.

I joined some Acorners at the Jug back in Leam. It was this guy Jake's birthday, who I'd never met before. Apparently he's the quiet type. By the time I sat down at the table though, he was absolutely gone from a massive round of drinks. From there, everything went downwards in a drunken spiral for the "tank." Not gonna bash on the poor guy, but it was disgusting behavior. You see people like that on the streets on Friday nights and either feel sorry for them or just despise them. So it was weird enough actually being in a group with someone that far gone. Let's just say seeing this from such close range definitely made an impact. Dunno if I'm ever gonna see this guy again but he certainly didn't make a good first impression, even though I'm sure he's a nice enough guy.

After that experience, Tom and Matt (pictured) came round to ours after, where the 3 of us chilled with Alex for a while, before calling it a night.

peace
