Such a lazy day!

This was the only photo I took all day, what with nursing my sprained wrist and catching the odd nap or two and watching a bit of daytime (rubbish) and evening TV (the first episode of Run on Channel 4: excellent).

The blip itself refers back to my trip down memory lane last week. This is my Dad's discharge from the Irish Army, dated 19th June 1942, as found in the attic and given to me by the present-day residents of the house we lived in in Carlow. It's great to have this link to my Dad, and hopefully the nice people in Carlow will keep their promise and send on some more stuff.
