A cloudy and muggy day, perfect for lazing around on a sun lounger and catching up with some reading. Couldn't face the Butlin's style tannoy announcements encouraging you to get up and do stuff every ten minutes so buggered off across the road to the water park again. The clouds meant it was nice and quiet and we had a whole section of the park to ourselves.

After a couple of exfoliating races on the Kamikaze slides between Euan and I it was back under the shady umbrella (this time to actual shade us from a few drops of rain) and quickly off to that nice and chilled point where I read the same paragraph a dozen times and it took about ten minutes to get through a page. Woke up again though after coughing up a small fortune for a couple of beers and a Pepsi that wasn't Pepsi, so when it came to lunch we headed back over to the hotel for some all-inclusive grub.

The theme for the restaurant in the evening was "The Big Blue" and as I'm not a huge seafood fan we decided to find a nice local restaurant down on the beach for some more traditional Spanish food. After some nice Tapas and Paella (vegetarian for unadventurous me) and a big Chorizo pizza for Euan we had a walk along the shoreline as the sun set to look at all the big yachts in the marina. The Port area was really bustling and we spent a good while just wandering and soaking up the atmosphere. Based on other places we've been overseas it was quite refreshing not to be pestered at all with timeshare, cafe touts and other scam merchants in such a densely tourist populated spot.

Walked back the one and a half kilometre or so along the moonlit beach and quiet streets, and headed straight off to bed. All this lounging around doing nowt's knackering.

Took this shot as we headed out for the evening of one of the three huge blocks that make up the hotel. Couldn't help being reminded of the doo'cots we have dotted around back home. That, or one of these new super prisons.

Think I may be wearying of all this just a bit.
