Hiking Girl

BabyApple really loves it when we throw her in the backpack and take her somewhere. Isn't she just the cutest little thing? I saw this hat for $8 and hesitated before buying it. But it is the cutest little baby hat ever so it was already worth it.

BabyA slept until 5 AM and then again in bed with us until 7:30. She is such a sweet little thing. We went out to breakfast at Island Skillet which was very good.

In the afternoon we drove out to Olga and visited the pottery shop. She liked looking at all the glassware, and Jerry - the potter, liked admiring her being such a cute little baby. She rode the little bouncy horse in the yard with Mr. Apple's help.

Then, we went to Obstruction Pass State Park - her first state park - and hiked to the beach. It was very very hot. She fell asleep in the backpack on the way back to the car.

In the evening, we fed her her first solid food (other than Manning's ice cream!) - sweet potato. It was a little anti-climatic. Early to bed for all of us. I think I was in bed by 8 PM followed shortly by Mr. Apple.
