backblip, because blip lost this posting somehow

On the radio this morning there was some discussion about what to do, and not do, in a thunderstorm, including some slightly odd 'folk history' actions.

One that I'd not heard of before was 'covering the mirrors' during a lightening storm. No-one seemed to know why.

Maybe the lost reflections of vampenguins prowl the mirrors of the world on stormy nights?
