Doing What He Does Best

Oh no! Oh yes--afraid it's another dog picture.
That is our life this week.

Ozzie gets lots of comments as he walks along with us with a mouthful of sticks:
"Oh look at that dog with a big stick"
What's he going to do...start a fire?
"That's really funny!"
"That stick's bigger than he is!"
"Can I throw it?
(The answer to that one is always no...he won't give it up!)
"There's a good 'branch manager'"

There was an unseen creature outside our bedroom door last night--the one that open to the outside. Both dogs were on duty instantly, protecting their territory, guarding their people and barking like crazy. I didn't even want to know what time it was....
We closed the door and they subsided and went back to sleep.
We were awake for a long time....
