'Some say love, it is a ......'

Well if you had rain, rejoice. We still haven't had any precipitation and I'm fed up of watering runner beans, strawberries, numerous hanging baskets and tubs, let alone tomatoes etc.

Another sticky day here, so much so, that Phoebe didn't get a walk until late this evening. I've watched numerous butterflies flitting about, never still and bees enjoying the nectar from flowers. But instead I looked at the rose in our garden that grows over the large trellis that runs the entire length of the garden. In previous blips you saw the wisteria and the clematis with the bee.

This rose has suffered black spot this year but nevertheless still makes remarkable blooms with a wonderful scent. Difficult to find these days, you either get one or the other. The rose is called Compassion, and because we had one in our last home which was very prolific, we decided to buy another one for this garden.

Hooray, as I type, it has started to rain at 23.02 and I hope it carries on.

Not much else to report other than we had a choir rehearsal this evening and most of our choir parts are good, but some of the other performers need a little more rehearshing. But as they say, 'It will be alright on the night', we hope!! Saturday is performance day, oh boy.

Thank you for visiting, keep safe, and enjoy life one day at a time. Until we 'meet' again, I do appreciate our communication.
