Day out! (backblip)

Had to backblip this as we went out.

Wow!!! What can I say ....... except a big THANK YOU to everyone ..... yesterday's Bee shot hit the spotlight!!!! Soooooo chuffed you all liked it so much :-)

Today we went to Whisby Nature Park near Lincoln ....... first time we've been & what a lovely place it is! There were butterflies all around ..... including Small Heath, Ringlet, Gatekeeper, Speckled Wood & Small Skipper (which I've never seen before! We saw & heard lots of different birds & had a thoroughly great time!

For quite a lot of the time .... as we were walking along the paths ...... we had to take great care as there were hundreds of little frogs crossing backwards & forwards ...... it was so difficult not to step on any. They were sooo tiny ...... they only measured about 1cm long!!!!

So here is a montage of some of the things we saw ....... a Small Skipper, a 6spot Burnett Moth, a caterpillar & one of the tiny frogs ...... do hope you like them :-)
