Soldier, soldier....

On the move and wanting to join up and do what these bugs do best :)) Oh yes I was ahead of them there! These two soldier beetles were very happy meeting up on the thistle head.

Walking on Oxenton Hill this afternoon it was incredibly breezy but lovely as otherwise it would have been far too hot! You could see for miles but not a huge amount around at all on the hillside because of the wind so I put the dogs back in the car to have a mooch round the churchyard. Everything just as dead in there .....

So about to go out onto the road when I spotted this male Broad-bodied Chaser and small skipper
