Life is a Challenge!

RING, RING

Do you remember before mobile phones and even before many of us had telephones in our homes how we used to go "out" to the telephone box to make a call?

You inserted your money, dialled the number and when the person answered you were then told to press Button A - if there was no reply you pressed button B and your money miraculously returned, if all worked according to plan!

If you were waiting for an important call you told someone the number of the public telephone box and then went there at the appointed time, to wait for the telephone to RING, hoping that no-one was using it, which would spoil all your best-laid plans.

I had given up hope of finding an old fashioned telephone box for one of the last challenges in the HeartFreek July Photo Challenge, until I went to Wimborne Minster and then I saw two, one at either end of the square.

What a good job we don't have to make an appointment or go out to speak to God - and we never need to worry that someone else is speaking to Him at the same time. More importantly, there is no charge and no monthly contract to enter into and neither do we get pushed around from pillar to post and have to press 1 for this, 2 for that and then get cut off - and when God says our call is important to Him, He means it!

It says in Isaiah 65:24

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
New Living Translation

What a great God!
