Jumping the Falls

Phew! Busy day. We are slowly getting Helena settled here. We did some shopping this morning at K Mart after dropping off the last of our stuff at Goodwill. Now Helena has a great crafting table that happened to be on sale for less than $50. Not bad at all.

In the afternoon the three of us took a long walk in Whatcom Falls Park. I heard the baby owls as we passed their area but they were off the trail again and less accessible than last time. So we walked on by. Next time I'll follow the sound again and hopefully get a good photo. Along the creek we found many swimmers and a few jumpers. This is the same spot that I blipped a few days ago. There were lots of jumpers this time and I was able to get some good photos of them. This is my favorite. Jump higher.

Now we are relaxing a bit. Helena is catching up on her email and soon we will head out to dinner at a Chinese buffet restaurant over near Whatcom CC.
