I've brought my new camera to the home a few times when visiting Gran, hoping to take a portrait.

She always asks where I got the lovely Canon from, and I remind her that it was my 30th birthday gift from my extended family, including her.

So far, she has balked when I've switched it on, so I have just pretended that I wanted to show her photos on the LCD screen instead.

Today, I asked if I could take her photo and, after the initial disgusted expression, she agreed. I'd love to know what she is thinking.
