A day of tidying with the great triumph of having found the remote for my DVD player, making life much, much easier in future, as it has an annoying liking for resetting itself to NTSC rather than PAL and so showing films in black and white and to get colour you have to put up with an annoying coloured band along the bottom of the screen. But now I can access the settings, all will be well! Hmmm, get a life is the phrase that comes to mind!
