A lovely evening today catching up with a friend who has been in Colombia since January, talking about the 'joys' of reverse culture shock. She and her family are some of my favourite people to talk to about all things cross cultural, as they really get what it's like living in another culture, then handling the horrible times when you come back, and when you miss it all so much. Some very serious chat too, lots of stuff going on, but so good to talk and to hear a bit about her trip.

We had coffee on Royal Exchange Square, so GOMA was the obvious place to go for a blip. I have no idea what these coloured cloths are about, though think it's something to do with Spain, but they are very bright and cheery on a dull evening!
