Seagull Towers

As we walked through the cultural precinct of the city I noticed these seagulls. They looked so organised it was almost as if they were doing a public performance!

My son and I had our usual day out in the city today and we saw a big rally of people who were protesting about keeping asylum seekers in detention camps! I know there is a lot of disagreement about this in the general community and someone must have been expecting trouble because there were a lot of police everywhere!

I saw many families with small children watching the proceedings and I hoped there wouldn't be any trouble. As far as I could tell it was totally peaceful!
