A Wee Dram and One for the Road

Lunch at Malmaison in Queen's Road today. A Malmaison Sunday Brunch in fact. The hors d'œuvre are particularly to be recommended. The Brunch itself cost £19.95 for a three course meal, I think it was meant to be a four course meal but I somehow we must have forgotten to have one of them!

Of course after lunch it was almost compulsory to have a wee dram. By a stroke of good fortune I picked a whisky they didn't have, so was given a more expensive dram at the same price! Thus it seemed foolhardy not to have a second before heading for the road.

A warm evening so the walk home was not too arduous in spite of a fairly generous lunch and two wee drams. The botttles top right which all look the same are of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Their bottles all look the same, the number on the label identifies the distillery and the bottling.
