Horror

Not a good day today. Mr H and I are deeply in the dog-house.

About 10 days ago we thought it would be a great idea to clear the junk out of the shed at the bottom of the garden. That way it would be more useful and we could extend it a bit to have a crash pad - maybe some gym equipment. All seemed sensible.

It was only when we got half the stuff out that we realised the enormity of the job. Despite trips to the dump the stuff was strewn all over the back garden. It then proceeded to rain. Lots of rain.

We put a tarpaulin over the stuff but the wind didn't help.

Today Mrs W inspected and was more than a bit upset (to put it mildly).

This is Mr H inspecting one of the dozens of records that have been salvaged. It's very bent! It wouldn't be playable even if we had a record player to play it on.

The best thing about today was the bonding H and I had as we covered each others backs and fell about laughing at the mess we've made - a sort of gallows humour.

He's also learnt a lot about brownie points and sass points. We've picked up a lot of sass points!

The half life of a sass point being about double that of a brownie point means were in the dog house until early next month.
