Putting the world to rights

This week I'm teaching two groups at the lower of the two levels I taught last week and two groups that are lower still. They are mostly much quieter than last week's groups - too quiet in some cases. I also have some almost horizontal sullen cynics. It's very tempting to go in for national stereotyping but I won't.

I am learning how to busk when the PC has no sound, the CD player is missing, the overhead projector won't switch on and the books aren't there.

One day it'll be just me under a baobab tree.

Next week there is a breathing space, so I shall catch up with you then.
