Orange Swift

This lovely moth was sitting by the sink in the kitchen this morning. It is a male Orange Swift, Hepialus sylvina. Apparently they are quite common visitors to gardens and are attracted to house lights. I love its woolly legs, which seem a bit over the top for the summer.
