Peat bog
Out for a walk today, which I've not done for a couple of weeks. I'm in training for my UK trip in April. Having a dodgy ankle and back, I just want to get moving, so it won't be so much of a hassle when I take the Eurostar and EMR train up to Leicester. Especially as I'll have a small suitcase and a rucksack with me.
Bit cold this morning, but lovely and sunny. The photo is of part of the marshes to the north of our village, where the river Essonne flows through. The basin beyond the RER D railway line, used to be where the locals harvested peat.
