How do I slinky?

Shane, demonstrating the use of a slinky, or the proper way to take a last minute blip before going out.

Epic night, at least in terms of what I drank. Beer, white wine, vodka, fireball whiskey and eliminator all went down to have a party in my liver. It started with Shane, Lia and me just relaxing watching show after show on TV (some good, some bad) and trying not to melt from the heat. Highlight was probably a hilarious episode of Not Going Out, about drinking too much and not remembering the night before (foreshadowing?).
With Stana, we headed for a quick drink at Grand Union. Would have liked to stay longer but the terrace was closed... Tom showed up and we made our way to Jug. Again, only one drink possible because soon enough it was closing. So down to the one and only Kelsey’s (and not Shades despite Tom’s efforts). Couple eliminators and the usual trashy vibes of our favorite pub and the time flew by. Alex joined us after finally managing to escape Stratford and his new job. We all ended up back at ours, with some more drinks and watched The Hangover (more foreshadowing?).
We also munched on the leftovers and Shane and me’s killer pasta bake. Made entirely from leftovers, it featured pasta, three types of cheeses (including cream cheese), doritos mild salsa, some milk, chilli and way too much olive oil. Oh so very greasy but good!
Maxstoke Hotel opened up for the night again, only 5 of us in total this time though. By the time Stana and me were finally falling asleep, the sun was rising. Watch the sunrise!
(that song is topical actually, being one of the very first songs I can trace back to getting me into house generally, back in 2005. Such good vibes!)

peace
