Refurb
I had a really good sleep last night ( was it that glass of milk before bed?) and followed it by an excellent swim. Much quieter today and no lane rage.
After that it was a trip to town for the implant check up (all ok, recall in 2027!) and M the hygienist. It took ages to get into town as I missed the post 9 a.m. buses but it meant I could walk down to the foot of the Brae in the sun, though the air was, well airish.
After Rose Street I went to Waterstone's to buy some books for my new neighbour. Popped in to Margiotta and braved the cold wind as I walked up the road.
After lunch I started on today's project, painting the garden furniture with the Cuprinol left over from last year. It was lovely to be in the sun but I was up and down a lot and my knees are telling me about that. Got a few 'feet' to finish off tomorrow but I think It looks good, so far.
I sat outside for a wee bit once the painting was finished but the west wind wasn't not a balmy zephyr.
Now back inside for a restful evening. I might send some photos or stitch #1 son. There is high cloud creeping in so the weather is changing.
