Preparation

A day of April showers/downpours and cold. The heating was on all day.

I started off with a plan, what was that about the Gods laughing? I did swim and then decided to do much tax return. A couple of hours max, I thought. Not a chance, took ages to get logged in and then it kept dropping me out and I had to keep checking I was answering correctly.  It's done now and I await the bank transfer!

I also planned to take seed tatties next door but between the rain and them being out that didn't happen. I also got embroiled with the VE commemoration events that involve Mum, #3's car (better news), #3's back green and Mum's new microwave. By the time all this was all done it was almost time to get ready to go out.

But at least the rain had stopped. Tonight's outing was to the Lyceum to hear David Greig on conversation with Zinnie Harris. I started off with Harris G&T. It was a really interesting evening about the importance and place of the arts in general and theatre in particular.

Saw E as I came out but not for long. Buses called. I had to walk down to the West End to get a #37.

Tomorrow I have to get back to that plan and the list.
