He Stopped by A Bit Early

The rain is gone but it was still too overcast and windy to get much accomplished outside. At least for me. I still have a few tiny items that haven’t arrived for the great grands’ basket but my Easter shopping is almost finished. I will add some fresh fruit right before delivering them. Hubby and his crew were out picking up trash along the highway at 7:00 am. They were pleased to see there actually wasn’t much litter. He came home and drained our hot water heater. Our well water is filled with minerals that form deposits at the bottom of the tank. Yuck. That’s why we have three whole house water filters. I finished packing and checking off pre-trip tasks. We set up tomorrow’s Easter outing for our mother. We will give her an Easter basket full of goodies at lunch. Both of my sisters (who live close by) and their hubbies will join us. Abi invited Momma out for an Easter mani/pedi but she declined. I guess we’ll have to make her an appointment with the podiatrist. It won’t be as much fun. Hubby has a few on line issues to address on his computer. Then we’ll take a walk. He has a Knights’ meeting this evening. I will try to get to everyone’s journal. It has been a nice lazy day.
