Family Easter Celebration

The morning rushed by. Hubby and I hurried with showers and getting dressed to leave on time. We stopped at Kim’s to feed the pets; Mancil W beat us to it. I picked up the rest of my gift cards and went to the restaurant to meet the family. Our mother will be at my nephew’s home with our sister (who she lives with) for Easter. She and her hubby are sitting in front of our mother in the photo. We decided to all get together at Olive Garden today to celebrate since we won’t be together for the actual holiday. We presented Momma with her Easter basket; had to put it away before she spoiled her appetite. It was filled with her favorite snacks. Lunch was tasty as usual. Our mother really enjoys their chicken and gnocchi soup. From there I finally delivered the memorial Christmas ornaments. My BIL and SIL were touched which made it all worthwhile. We stopped at the Amish greenhouse and picked up some lettuce plants and three lantana plants for me and Gerbera daisies for my daughter Kristen, delivered them to her house with a birthday card. Our commitments for the day were almost all complete. I washed a load of laundry. We have leftovers available for dinner. We will go to our Holy Thursday special commemorative Mass this evening and stay at the “garden” for reflection for a few hours. Our day will be a long one. Wishing you time for reflection this evening. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “Special occasions become unforgettable when shared with family over a meal.” - all quotes.blog
