Musing of a Lady

Another Play Date

Little Man and I have had a lovely Good Friday. We had a quiet morning at home, with something of a lie in. I'd remembered to turn off my alarms last night, so I didn't have them going off at the normal time, if Little Man had nursery. We got up and had toast for breakfast. We hung out and relaxed. It does feel a bit weird not having to get Little Man off to nursery, as he's got his spring holidays now.

After lunch, my life group leader, Sjanne, came round to get us and we spent the afternoon hanging out with her and her family. Little Man really enjoyed himself. Sjanne's youngest is about 7 or 8 months younger than my boy and they get on well. Sjanne and I chatted for a bit before she went to do some preparation for a church meeting tonight, which I'm not going to (I want to stick to Little Man's routine as much as possible over the holidays as I can).

It was also the first day I was able to just sit outside and read, without a sweater or a jacket on, as Sjanne's garden is very well protected from the wind. It was gorgeous! I finally managed to finish my book today, The Rose Code. It took some time because I've been pretty distracted lately with day to day life.
