Today has been pretty normal for us. Little Man and I stayed home for most of the day, despite the sun being out its been pretty chilly.

We spoke to Debbie and James, Little Man's English grandparents, this morning and then after lunch, we went for a short walk. On the way home, I paused long enough to take this photo. If you look closely you can see our current home, but if you look to the left of the photo, you can see the burnt out shell of the house two doors down. It burnt down just under two weeks ago (for more on what happened, click here). The man who lived there escaped with help from some of the local teenagers who were playing football on the pitch just opposite. He was standing outside when the first fire engine arrived.

We spent the rest of the day, relaxing at home, and eating chocolate eggs. Caleb brought two bags round before he left and I'm going to wait a while before opening the second one. Dinner is done and Little Man is in the bath. He's been a bit crankier today than normal, so he's probably going to bed early.
