Meadows' cherries
I woke up in time to hear Y and G leaving for their taxi at 4 am. Managed to get back to sleep, around the time tho get up.
Nothing planned for today as with Y on there way to Mallorca Coffee Club was off. It was chilly and cloudy outside so sewed a tree until it was time to speak to the KL family. They were eating chocolate fondue. No Easter eggs are sold in Malaysia but they did have chocolate.
There sun had come out and I decided to push myself to go out. Got the bus to Lauriston and then walked under the cherry blossom, which must be at ours peak. Though it was cold (freezing, NE wind) the Meadows were busy and the usual groups of Chinese (students I presume) taking photos.
I didn't linger but walked back to Summer hall and then the bus. Once home I sat in the garden and tried to sew but it was difficult in the sun. Fed all the cats and had a glass of wine, though it still wasn't that warm.
Back inside I cooked stir fry and rice. Now I'm going to listen to 'Casino Royale' on Sounds.
The family have finally booked tickets 5 weeks from 6 July via Turkish. In other travel news GGPP are off to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Makes my travels seem very tame.
