Easter hike

It was fairly sunny this morning and I got out to Pilot Hill by 9:30, which is pretty good for me. I was happy to find some tiny prairie flowers starting to bloom.
It's been a quiet day. Mom and C had a good time in Texas. The Blue Bonnets weren't the best sadly since they haven't had enough rain, but they did see some. They had some good meals and went to a giraffe sanctuary. Mom loves giraffes so I think she really enjoyed that. They are on their way home taking a little longer to drive home instead of pushing it in two days. I can't wait to talk to her to get all the details.
