Easter Blessings

I woke up before 3:00 am this morning. Hubby got up to take his early meds and then Life 360 told me Parker had just gotten home. He and I texted back and forth for awhile. By then, I was wide awake. I read until 5:00. Then I had to shower and get ready to head to the Sunrise Mass. The sky was completely covered in clouds; you could not see the sun rise. I came home and baked scones for breakfast at Jamie’s. I have been watching my iris. The ones by the back patio opened this morning. I will probably miss the others so I captured these. Renee spent the morning at urgent care; she has conjunctivitis. Jamie and Abi took her place in the kitchen and I helped when we arrived. And then I forgot to get a group pic. Abi is now baking with sour dough starter. She made this cute bunny shaped bread for their dinner. We got to enjoy homemade cinnamon buns she made. We had a scrumptious breakfast. My sister and BIL followed us home. They took all the food and my personal belongings so all I have to do is grab my inhaler and get in their truck. My sister has to have a bone density scan before we leave for WV. Mancil, Brooklyn and Madi stopped by. They brought me a thank you gift for watching their pets. We read awhile and hubby napped. Not me. Once I crash, I will probably sleep for hours. We went to Kristen’s for dinner. She told me it would be a simple meal. Not sure if you can see what’s on her island but I wouldn’t call it simple. It was delicious. We had “not yo Momna’s banana pudding” and carrot cake cheesecake for dessert. Oh goodness. Will have to work extra hard next week to get back on the diet routine. We got to visit with almost the whole family. Lauren and her crew missed breakfast/visiting. Skylar and Trevor had to work so they missed Easter dinner. As the grands get even older, we will probably miss seeing them as often. We are resting at home now. Sure hope your Easter was as pleasant. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “Blossoms abound when springtime's around, bringing loved ones so dear to celebrate that Easter is here." - Embroly.com
