(110) Le Cake
The cake turned out well and was finished this morning. I may have been slightly over generous with the lemon curd filling because after half an hour in transit the top layer had partially slid off the bottom layer. No problem though, an opposite tilt of the cake box rectified the situation. I'll have to check next time and see if I can find information about lemon curd viscosity and adhesion properties and coefficients of friction between sponge layers and lemon curd. Birthday gathering was great fun and the first time in ages we’ve managed to gather so many family members together for a catch-up. The extra today is from the afternoon walk around the town and was taken with my infrared converted Nikon D90. The IR conversion makes the sensor much more susceptible to lens flare, which can be used creatively, if desired.
