Monument of Ted sitting outside the pub at Waihao Forks Hotel waiting for the train to take him to war. Before leaving somebody said they would put a bottle of beer behind the bar to have on his return. Unfortunately, he was killed in action, but the same bottle still remains behind the bar untouched, waiting for his return.
