Nature ramble

Today’s walk was a gentle one originally intended to be easy to allow one of our number who has been injured to join us. Unfortunately, his wife was ill and he cried off at the last minute. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a walk in the.garrigue, 8 kilometres with 215 metres of ascent. There was an abundance of wildflowers, poppies, rock roses, salsify, wild delphiniums, lavender, and much more.
