River of forget-me-nots

I may have overdone the sprinkling of seeds from last year’s forget-me-nots but they make a pretty sight at the moment, a river of brightest blue filling every gap in the flower bed.  I hope the perennials aren’t struggling too much underneath.  Beautiful day today although chilly still. I spent a lot of it in my office catching up and starting things off. 

I had missed that I had to fill in a lot of paperwork this afternoon in order to be paid at the end of the week. Including online forms that the in-house firewall  wouldn’t let me fill in.  So I was a bit late out of the barn and took some sunlit garden pictures to calm me down before cooking a good Nigella chicken and lentil dish that was soothing and delicious. 

We watched the first episode of the new season of Fallout.  I’m not entirely sure I can go through it all again!
