I see a very
beautiful day coming on.
I must not waste it.

I was awake at 5 but the light is not adequate for me then. I looked out to my mountains where a slice of the moon was hanging between them and decided I should try for more sleep. I gave up trying and left the house at 6.

I made a brief stop at our office, then headed over the bridge to downtown. I made the turn on Seymour Street to Riverside Park. I parked near the Uji Garden to walk up the Rivers Trail towards the bridge.

I got my panorama of the Thompson River with my mountains gracing the east end of it. I came down the trail back into the park to get a view of the Overlander Bridge and the river. I got some shots of the south shore marmots around the Celtic Stones. They clamber over and under it. Their burrow must be underneath. Walkers ambling by didn't seem to notice the marmots until I pointed them out. 

It's a cool 5 C in the city this morning. The forecast is we're warming up. I will be looking for some bedding plants soon but I'd like the overnights to warm a bit more first. 

I'm in for the day. More paperwork this morning then I should be free.
