Little blossom.
Grace doesn’t work on Thursdays so Jude doesn’t go to pre school.
We set off to walk down to London Rd to get the bus into Bath.
Jude spotted this blossom tree and wanted a little posy so we took her picture under it - she’s looking at Grace here.
Quite a walk to the bus stop down Bailbrook House drive. All the wonderful primroses lining the side of the road which I photographed two weeks ago are over and there was a guy strimming it all.
We’d been stood at the bus stop for a few minutes when Grace spotted a sign saying bus stop suspended for 10 days from the 23 April! So a long walk on London Rd towards Bath to the bus stop after the roundabout where the buses are being diverted!
Yesterday I was just thinking that I don’t often go up to the more famous parts of Georgian Bath at the top of town but today we walked up Gay Street to The Circus and then on towards the Royal Crescent where there are a few nice shops that we wanted to visit.
The sun came out whilst we were there and it was suddenly very warm.
Back down to Wagamama’s for lunch, very nice. Then back on the bus to Larkhall at which point Grace realised she’d brought a radio to take to the Repair shop ( didn’t open till one so we didn’t drop it off straight away) and hadn’t dropped it in so it had to be carried all the way back up the ‘hill’ with Jude!
(Lovely Wisteria on the Bailbrook Lane cottages on the way up - extra.)
The girls have now gone to their ballet classes and I’m preparing their supper for when they get back as we are off to see a friend in Sondheim’s musical ‘Into the Woods’ this evening at The Redgrave in Bristol. Chris has arrived has already cut the grass. He’s in charge tonight!
Thank you all for the stars and hearts for yesterday’s unexpected blip celebration putting me at no 3 on popular. You are so kind.
