Continuing the tulip theme

Spent ages in conversation with the surgery and JMaps re my knee. Got a phone appointment with a GP in 2 weeks but they say now I’m in the care of JMap they can’t do anything. They offered me the number to go private. JMaps are still allocating appointments (to see someone who’ll decide whether a cortisone injection will help) from 12 March referrals but she agreed to let me see a physio next week so I’ll be ready with questions! I walked the recommended 10 minutes but my leg gave way on the way home. It’s all very dispiriting and time-consuming.

Toby came and removed the tree stump of the magnolia tree Mr C chopped down a couple of years ago, (having misheard my request to cut the top off).

Bathroom Chris will come tomorrow (if he hasn’t got the bug the rest of the family had).

I had my ripping appointment at Saks then Mr C dropped me at #3 daughter’s while he went to Sainsbury. Daughter was out to lunch with friends and Ella was having a picnic in the park with her friends. Luke and Nathaniel were at home so I had a coffee and chat with them. Ella arrived back and joined me into Duolingo. She’s doing French on it and is so quick. I have elected Latin. It’s not Latin as I remember it. Nothing about tables or love. Anyway now we are following each other so I’d better not let her down.

We stopped in Morpeth on the way back and I spent money in Rutherford’s again. Mr C laughed when I told him I was under instruction from “his” cruise that the dress code was something called “club casual” so I was stocking up. (Though we have yet to establish what this actually means).
