Botanising
Lil came with me today to look at the wildflowers on my walk for next Wednesday.
There are loads of new ones showing. Some are just leaves so we had our work cut out with identification.
We both love the task and we had a lovely time.
On March 24th I blipped a coltsfoot flower.

Usually there is little to see before the leaves grow up, but the fine, dry weather has allowed the seed heads to develop. I was thrilled to see them. They are spectacular to my mind.
We saw water avens, marsh marigold, one plant of goldilocks, globe flowers (no flowers yet), stitch wort and the first wood sorrel on Gold island this year.
I came home at lunchtime and Annette was here. We had a good catch up because I haven’t seen her for ages (perhaps 3 weeks).
I’ve been trying to understand how the MacBook Pro works. It is not as intuitive as the iPad! All I want to do is make folders and put files in them, to create some order, rather like Windows Explorer.
I’ve put it down before my frustration levels rise too high. Perhaps I need to start with a simple tutorial!!
