Calmer

Today was good. After looking again at yesterday's results, they weren't so bad, even if there's another job to do before I can improve them. But it can wait. I went to work in time for lunch with PhD student B and the interns, and then had chats with all three during the afternoon. At 16:00 I had a call with the prospective PhD student, after which I passed him on to our developer F so he could ask questions of someone who has recently done a PhD in the group. They are both Italian, so F could get an insight that might only come across when someone is speaking their native language. 

It's been a beautiful day, and when I got off the bus and walked around the corner, I was greeted with the very pleasing early summer evening view of Penicuik High Street.
