Berberis

Back to work for me today. It was a struggle. I haven’t been through my in box yet, but have at least made a start, though I didn’t get very far.

Given I was so cold yesterday, I dressed for winter today, although it turned out to be milder and drier, though still dry.

My first day back was too busy. I didn’t get a break until about 4pm, when I escaped from the office for about twenty minutes.

I had to navigate the new bus timetable to get home, as I wasn’t sure of the new times. I was glad to get home, as I was feeling very weary. Later I had to go out and buy cakes. I had half-promised cake for a colleague’s birthday tomorrow, but I didn’t have the energy to bake tonight.

This berberis is growing through the railings along Regent Terrace.
