The Halt Bar

I was in the Woodland Road area of Glasgow this afternoon and, as the sun was shining, I took a walk along to the often photographed little sculpture of the comic strip character, Lobey Dosser, who featured in the Evening Times throughout the 1950s. However, it was this street scene that caught my eye. The two Asian grey-bearded gentlemen were about to halt to pass the time of day at a chance meeting at the door of the Halt Bar. The symmetry, the coincidence, and the human interest all came together. It was one of those pleasing moments I managed to capture.
