A wet day in Mystic.

As predicted it rained all night and for quite a lot of today. It was really foggy too.  Becky and Mike popped out to buy pastries and coffee for breakfast.  Then we drove to Mystic Aquarium......about a 10 min drive away.

It was a fun place to visit and we enjoyed it........ especially Astrid. Blip shot shows entrance to Aquarium.  Becky and Astrid are in the photo too. 

Next stop was an outlet mall.  Becky and Mike got some great bargains in a couple of sports shops...... running shoes, T Shirts, shorts etc... And Becky got a few things in Bath and Body Works. 

Came home via the supermarket and bought some food for lunch.  I had a afternoon nap as I was feeling weary. 

In the evening we went to Mystic Pizza for our meal... 3 had pizza. I was the odd one out and had grilled chicken burger and chips. We walked there and back and fortunately it had stopped raining by then.

I managed to followed the score for the Newcastle match. They had a home game against Ipswich and won 3 - 0.
