Landmark
(27.4.25)
I happily worked from home, and then we headed back to the DED Café to finish renewing the trade licence and establishment card. That done, we had a few errands to run, the most important of which was to get hot cross buns for tomorrow, which M&S in Dubai Mall wonderfully provided.
We didn’t hang around. It was the car wash next, dropping the recycling off on the way there. It was great to get back home to a home-cooked meal. We had managed to do all the errands we set out to do, avoiding numerous traffic queues. Wonderful!
I had my camera in the car, but it was too hot to fetch it to get this shot of Jumeirah Mosque (which was opposite the DED Cafe). In the 90s, it was Dubai's most photographed landmark.
