For the family

Misleading

It was a warm busy day at the racecourse but from  this angle looks deserted!!!

We went down to the leisure centre before 10 and I got a space on one of the settees straight away. It made for a much more comfortable crocheting session than last week. I’m working hard on my collection of positive potatoes and super hero teds, as I think the next batch of donations will be due soon.

I paid my second visit to the quilt show late morning. I did a good review of all the areas yesterday and knew what I was after today. I’ve got more than enough ‘stuff’ to keep me occupied for years, but saw two small projects that were interesting that I bought. (in extras)

I was tired yesterday because I foolishly just kept going and didn’t stop for a rest. Today I had a coffee and a chunk of yummy cake whilst I sat in the sunshine.

My arm is recovering, only the colour of skin to normalise and there will be no sign of the horrible reaction.

R and the ladies are preparing to leave Nepal in the morning. A 3.30 alarm call will start a long day of travel. It will be great to see her and hear all about the events. I think that they all coped without problems, but news is always scarce when she’s away for fear of worrying us!!!
