Bluebells

A busy start to the day at work. So a slightly different route for a morning walk to visit a wild flower area, but only cowslips were in bloom. I don't live in an area where there are lots of native bluebells, so nice to see these next to the path.

Afternoon walk was to the local café for Friday afternoon coffee and cake. Nice views, but still a lot of haze. My usual cake at the café is carrot cake. And even though I could see there was no carrot cake, and was told there was no carrot cake, the weekly habit made me ask for carrot cake. So chocolate cake it was. Partner, bit liking chocolate cake, made do with a rather large custard slice. Wee walk through the park home in lovely conditions. But cloud is moving in. Saturday's weather forecast not looking too good.
